Annie Tempe Theatre reviews
man your battlestations!!
I jumped right on it when I found out they were opening a second showing in Philly. Unfortunately, my friends failed to get them as quickly as I did, so I went alone. Regardless, since I first heard "In Keeping Secrets of Silent Earth 3" which was their closer, I always dreamed of seeing them. The song that made me instantly fall in love with them. Most bands I've seen live never did what Annie did: their unpopular songs. Al the Killer? 2113? I never saw those coming until I recognized the opening riff more. And they did more songs from their first two albums which I really wanted to hear. I just didn't like it when Claudio left it up to us to sing when he went nuts on stage. BUT he played the guitar with his face twice, and that's always pure entertainment there. Three Evils was nice to hear. And Everything Evil. I don't really know what that sounds like, but the crowd loved it. All four of the guys of Co and Ca are very talented, and I have always loved their work. The other two bands were okay too.
